Stop...Hammertime

Today's outfit of the week is brought to you by these completely awesome chambray pants by Shampoodle. They're light, comfortable, tran-seasonal, and just a teensy bit reminiscent of M.C Hammer.
Girls can wear these pants too, but sometimes boys just wanna have fun, so we've paired them with a hamburger tee by Like Rabbits, and a Broken Tricycle hoodie.
For ultimate street-cred, you need only add a Munster cap and your pumped up kicks.

Too. Cool. For. School.

Marvel-ous!

There's nothing comical about this assortment of goodies...or, perhaps there is. For those looking to add a little Zap! Pow! Biffo! to their everyday ensemble, we have just the thing.

Story Corner Cafe

You may have heard whispers of a new children's space in Newtown. You can find Berkelouw's Story Corner at the back of their cozy bookstore, nestled amongst the kid's books. There are cushions and rugs to sit on, toys to amuse the young and the restless, and starting from January 19th, story-time each Thursday morning. Very cool!

Swell Thing: The Accordion

Wooden accordions now in store $39

One of my favourite things to do as a child was put on gypsy-esque performances with my siblings and the neighbours' kids too. We'd make tickets, rehearse all day, and finally reel in any grown ups we could find to come and watch us dance, juggle, forget the lines to "The Locomotion" and generally put on a show.

I didn't own an accordion, however. Which is a shame - because as everybody knows, accordions are extremely rad.

These wooden accordions come in red and blue, and are fully functioning. Included is an instruction booklet, which even has a couple of songs inside to get you started. We think they make the perfect gift for music-minded kiddos (and people who want to make friends and influence people).
