Easy Riders - Sewing Project
Here we thought we'd share with you all a fun sewing project!
These bags are great and were found in a vintage book, 'Easy-going Sewing'.
We've included the patterns and instructions for two styles of bags.
The Blue bag fits snugly over the carrier, you can also pick it up and it becomes a satchel.
The smaller yellow bag loops over the handlebars and can be worn with a belt. The loops can also be snapped together to form a handle.

Beautiful Hand-knits just arrived
Stunning hand-knitted pieces have just arrived instore. All lovingly made by our adopted Nanna's.
A variety of styles and sizes for both boys and girls and featuring just the right amount of quirk and sweet.
Interesting buttons, animals and objects adorn these vests, dresses and cardi's, all created using soft textured wool.
Now the hard part will be choosing which ones will go up on our online shop or to be sold in our Newtown shop.

A little while ago we asked you what you'd most love to win from Shorties, and the answer was loud and clear - you want Mini Micro Scooters!
What Colour do you want to win?
If you'd love to score one of these tops scooters, this is how to do it:

- post an instagram of something in the same colour as the scooter you hope to win - choose from red pink yellow blue green or orange
- make sure you label it with the hashtag #shortiesfreestuff
